Good looks.  Physical attractiveness.  Handsomeness.  Ruggedness.  Allure, glamor, or shapeliness.  Whatever you want to call it, it’s one of the most basic building blocks of attraction and seduction.  Those who have it know it, and those who don’t have it wish they did.  Thousands of guys all around the world believe that they could never attract a woman because they don’t think of themselves as good looking.  But then there are just as many anecdotes floating around about very average looking guys that get with stunningly hot women.  This begs the question and a real discussion:

Learn From Your Friends’ Mistakes

Having been in Korea a few years, I’ve made a few mistakes of my own by also have seen others do much worse. Ironically, I learned the most through others’ mistakes.

I had a friend in Korea that lived two hours away from Seoul by train in the countryside. Mildly attractive and with a decent enough personality, I thought that he would be a hit with women, foreign and domestic. He would consistently ask our large group of friends and me for advice on meeting women and what to do. He struck out so often with women that it became an ongoing joke. The 2 Biggest Mistakes Guys Make in Text Game

In Korea text game is absolutely essential.  More than 90% of the girls that I’ve met and dated will all but completely refuse to talk on the phone, even with their own friends and family using their native language.  Instead they prefer to always text instead, which can be either a help or a hindrance to you depending on how you use it.

I’ve written before about the importance of KakaoTalk in Korea, the go-to messaging app choice for Koreans.  Using the app is a step in the right direction, but even from that point you have to tighten up your text game.  In order to do that, it’s crucial to avoid the two biggest mistakes I’ve seen guys make when talking to Korean girls:

  1. You’re texting too much.
  2. You’re not texting enough.

Going to Korea for the first time can be extremely overwhelming. For many, it’s the first time away from home and a familiar environment. Not only are you experiencing culture shock with the mannerisms of the people, you also don’t know the language and how to communicate with others… especially with Korean women. You suddenly find yourself not being able to communicate effectively at all, resorting to clumsily pointing and gesturing in the hopes of getting what you want to eat.
